　This well-preserved reflecting telescope was crafted by the renowned London optical instrument makers William and Samuel Jones. Featuring precision screw-rod adjustments for optical alignment, it incorporates period-advanced speculum metal mirrors and retains original accessories including dust caps, a star finder, and spare eyepieces. Its innovative alt-azimuth mount with folding tripod combines observational stability with portability. As a masterpiece of late 18th and early 19th centuries British instrumentation, it perfectly integrates precision engineering, functional design, and decorative artistry.
