Weekend Film Talk: “Tenchi: The Samurai Astronomer” + Guided Tour of the Astronomical History Exhibition: “Light-Chasers: The Vision of Western Classical Telescopes”
The event will feature a guided tour by a Ptolemy Museum guide sharing knowledge about antique artifacts and artifacts related to astronomical history. Participants will have the opportunity to observe antique telescopes, ancient star disks, rare books, and other valuable historical artifacts up close. After the screening, a HOBBYHK astronomy instructor will explain the film’s background and related information. Those who haven’t seen the film are also welcome to attend!
